![]() ![]() He has been around for years and knew everything and everyone. ![]() ![]() I also highly suggest the portable bathroom - best extra money ever spent.įor our safari, Omari was the GOAT. Ps - our breakfast, lunches, and dinners were amazing every night. I am forever thankful for Stan, George, and the rest of our kakas for their support along the way. Over the 7-days, our 14-man crew literally became our “kakas” (brothers in Swahili) and our guides stopped at nothing to make sure we were 1) safe and 2) going to make it to the top. There is absolutely zero possibility we would have been able to summit without our crew. First of all, the guides, chefs, porters and crew that took us up the mountain were fantastic. I could not have picked a better company for my daughter and my trek up Kilimanjaro and 4 day safari. I looked at several different companies and Altezza was the most up front with pricing and the most responsive to any questions. I saw a recommendation for Altezza in a Facebook group and started my research there for my 15-year-old daughter and my trip to Tanzania. It was chatting with a friend who wanted so much for you to have a great time and enjoy his beautiful country. Once the safari was over he arranged out transport to the airport to get our flight to Zanzibar. The safari was fantastic and took us to several national parks where we saw all of the big 5 animals. He had also called the hotel and told them we weee on our honeymoon so we arrived to fizz and rose petals on the bed. When we returned from the hike he then met up with us and drove us to Arusha to our hotel to then pick up the safari he had organised at our request. At one point i had some altitude sickness and one of the guys (Baracka) unlaced my boots to allow me to get into my sleeping bag because he could see I wasn’t feeling great. The guides were very professional and helpful, the food was great and hearty for the climb and kindness from everyone like you would not believe. The hike team (guides, porters, cook) were amazing. He picked us up from the airport, organised our hike up Kilimanjaro which was great (Tarry Adventures and Safaris). We were put in contact with him before arriving in the country through a friend who recommended we contact him if we were going to Tanzania. He actually orchestrated our honeymoon in Tanzania. The shop owner Pete is one of the nicest people who I have ever met. When comparing on price, the tours were very competitive and as you can read below, they were fantastic!!! Also they can arrange tours, hikes etc which is what we did. They can also do cloth tailoring and all manner of other things. It is a great shop with interesting local stuff that is reasonably priced. ![]()
